Who Are We?

My name is Gwyn and with my wife Gill we run an Independent Property Finding Service on the Costa Blanca.

We are not ESTATE AGENTS, DEVELOPERS or BUILDERS.We do not sell apartments, villas, land or any form of property; you will not find any pictures   of any property for sale on this website.

We offer a No-Cost Property Finding Service and are totally independent from any of the above which enables us to   work only on behalf of you as a client who is serious about buying in our part of Spain.

Why a Property Finder and not an Estate Agent?

Our Story is that after living in South Africa for 22 years and relocating back to Britain we found it hard to adapt to the weather, lifestyle, high cost of living etc.

After a lot of research we realised that Spain could offer us what we had been looking for, lots of sunshine, outdoor lifestyle, low cost of living and where we could feel safe walking on the streets.

So like thousands before us we decided to go and find out what Spain had to offer in the way of properties, and that’s where the fun started.

First step was to go and visit the local property exhibitions, we couldn’t wait to get out to Spain and look at all these properties we could buy at half the price of what we could buy in Britain, all with sea views, private pools, 3 / 4 bedrooms.

Every property exhibition we visited all advised us of properties that were absolute bargains but sadly as most people have found out they do not exist, but every effort is made to sell you something that does not meet your expectations.

After a few inspection trips we were being shown the same properties as on previous visits, also the attitudes of the sales people changed if we did not buy one of the first three properties we were shown, and on more than one occasion accused of wasting their time, also their sales techniques left a lot to be desired and more than one company refused to leave us on our own for a minute in case we looked in an Estate Agents window and saw a property that they did not have on their books.

When we decided to go under our own steam and look at properties it was even worse, everyone we met knew someone who had a property for sale at a bargain price. In the end we decided to move to Spain and rent for a few months, take our time and look around. We soon realised that there are plenty of so called professional people in Spain all willing to take your money but offer nothing in return.

Majority of people who have bought in Spain are happy and have no regrets, but you never hear of their stories, sadly you only hear of the horror stories of those who thought they were getting a bargain or saving money by cutting corners and believing someone when they say don’t worry this is the way we do it in Spain.

Our personal experience made us realise that buying property in Spain is not the same as buying property in Britain, so we started our Property Finding Business and by following some basic rules can help you buy property in Spain safely and save you a lot of time, money and stress.
