Inspection trips
Usually offered by Promoters or Developers.
These trips are usually arranged around a 4 day visit subsidised by the Promoters or Developer.
This can be a cheap way of going to Spain to look at what is available to suit your budget, but a lot of
people feel that they are put under pressure to buy, and unless you have done your homework
and know what it is exactly that you want could prove to be an expensive way to go and look at property.
Also take into account that the person showing you around is on a commission only package, no sale no pay
and may need your sale to earn a wage that month.
Go it alone
This will require a lot of research on your part before hand.
Searching on the internet, wading through property magazines, shortlisting Estate Agents.
arranging air flights, hotels etc.
The trick is to find an Estate Agent that can communicate with you, and is willing to advise on property that
meets your specs and budget, and can answer all your questions without you feeling any pressure.
Another Option
If you are too busy and do not have the time to go it alone there is another option; you can use the
services of a Property Finder.
A Property Finder will do all of the donkey work and running around for you, meet with you in Spain to view
properties that meet with your specific requirements, and guide you through the process of buying Spanish
property safely.
